Worker’s Permit Scheme update

Update: Worker’s Permit Scheme

The Victorian Stage 4 coronavirus restrictions included the requirement for all workers performing work on site to hold an employer issued permit.

From Wednesday 28 October this permit is no longer required for workers in metropolitan Melbourne.

The permit is still mandatory for any workers travelling between metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria. Further details about the latest updates to the scheme can be found on the coronavirus.vic.gov.au website.
