COVIDSafe Plans – resources for employers
From Friday 7 August 11.59pm in line with Stage 4 “Stay at Home” restrictions, all employers with more than 5 employees that have any on-site business operations must now have a COVIDSafe Plan. As a Labour Hire provider, Dixon Appointments’s plan covers both our own office locations as well as a review process for our host employer workplaces where some of our temporary employees work on site.
Dixon has been working with our partner employers to ensure that any temporary employees working on-site are covered by an appropriate COVIDSafe Plan and can confirm that all host employers that we work with that are continuing on-site operations attest to the fact that they have a COVIDSafe Plan enacted.
For many business this meant some late nights last week to get appropriate systems and processes in place and documented before the Friday night deadline. We very much appreciate the cooperation and efforts of the dedicated people that assisted with this to ensure minimal further disruption to business operations.
COVIDSafe Plans should cover all aspects of how the employer intends to manage the risks associated with COVID-19 transmission in workplace operations.
Business Victoria has collated some FAQs and resources from DHHS and WorkSafe to assist business ins the enactment and regular updating of their COVIDSafe Plans, including templates for business that are “High Risk”.
