\n\tWhile every care is taken, the accuracy of a police check depends on a number of factors and on occasion a police check is released with incorrect information. <\/div>\n
\n\t <\/div>\n
\n\tIf you believe that a check result provided to you from Dixon Appointments contains an error you will need to speak with Dixon Appointments and provide supporting evidence. <\/div>\n
\n\t <\/div>\n
\n\tDisputes may be raised under the following circumstances: <\/div>\n
    \n
  • \n\t\tthe police information released does not belong to you; <\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tpart of the police information does not belong to you; <\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tthe police information belongs to you, but the details are inaccurate; or <\/li>\n
  • \n\t\tthe police information belongs to you, but should not have been released. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n\tWho should you Contact? <\/h3>\n
    \n\tYou will need to contact your Consultant at Dixon Appointments on 9629 9999. <\/div>\n

    \n\tWhat will we do? <\/h3>\n
    \n\tIf you ask Dixon Appointments to raise a dispute, we will obtain all supporting evidence from you and then complete the appropriate form to submit to the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission. <\/div>\n
    \n\tSupporting information might include: <\/div>\n
      \n
    • \n\t\tOther names you have been known by to assist the police to determine your identity. <\/li>\n
    • \n\t\tPrevious addresses where you have resided to assist the police to determine your whereabouts at the time of the disputed offence\/s. <\/li>\n
    • \n\t\tA scan of relevant court documents that show the correct results of the offence <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n\tOnce Dixon Appointments receives notification from the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, we will contact you immediately to advise of the outcome.<\/div>\n
